Dear friends,
The devastation caused by the wildfires along the west coast is beyond words. Lives are lost, thousands of acres are turned into ashes, and people have lost their homes and livelihood. It is with a heavy heart of sadness for the tremendous loss that I urge all of our sangha members and friends from all over the world, to pray wholeheartily for everyone affected by this fire and to help in any way that is possible. As we send our prayers and compassion to all the people and countless other beings, let us continue to meditate on the impermanent nature of life. " THIS TOO SHALL PASS" ...and in this recognition of the changing nature of things, may we find the hope and peace that we seek. I encourage all of our sangha members to recite, in particular, the Tara Mantra, as many times as possible. (Om Tare Tuttare ture Svaha.) With Compassion, Jigme Rinpoche.
