Tulku Jigme Rinpoche offers a teaching each Sunday inspired by the great classical Buddhist texts that are pertinent, practical, and useful in today’s modern times. Rinpoche is currently teaching from the classic text, Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend. Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend provides a concise and thorough introduction to the entire Buddhist path. In particular, the instructions are of special interest to those who wish to take up spiritual activity while continuing to live and work in society. The verses in this letter are meant to convey the whole meaning of the Dharma to the ordinary person in a language and style that are easy to understand. For centuries, students have studied this great poem as a way to understand the practical approach to daily practice and conduct, as well as to examine the different stages leading to enlightenment.
