Run for Peace
Updated: Oct 23, 2018
On a sunny day in May 2018, participants from all walks of life came together to celebrate Peace. People ran, walked, rolled, and strolled a 5K and 10K stretch of trail along the Willamette River. The annual Run for Peace started in 2013, in honor of the Dalai Lama's visit to Eugene, OR. Every year, a growing number of participants reunites in an effort to raise funds for the building of the Palmo Center for Peace and Education's physical site.
