Letter to a friend flyer WEB

Every Sunday, Tulku Jigme Rinpoche will start a philosophy course on the classic Buddhist text entitled “Letter to a Friend” (Sanskrit:Suhrlleka, Tibetan: Bshes spring) composed by 2nd Century Buddhist philosopher Arya Nagarjuna. The text provides a concise and thorough introduction to the entire Buddhist path, in particular it covers the Mahayana path with unusual clarity and memorable imagery.

The instructions are of special interest to those who wish to take up spiritual activity while continuing to live and work in society; they are meant to convey the whole meaning of the Dharma to the ordinary person in a language and style that are easy to understand.

Where: Cottage Grove Temple, 325 North I Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424
