Awakening The Mind & Heart
5 day retreat with Tulku Jigme Rinpoche
Teacher of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology
Genuine happiness is a deep sense of fulfillment that arises from an exceptionally healthy mind. This happiness gives us the inner resources to deal with the negative thoughts and emotions that cause suffering.
Groundbreaking scientific research over the past 20 years shows that the inner training of the mind can profoundly change the way we are.
During this retreat, in addition to presenting the theory and practice of meditation, Rinpoche will teach on the beautiful text titled “The Seven Points of Mind Training.” This text has been used for centuries as a tool, in a most straightforward way, to help us cut through our habitual, dualistic grasping and self-centeredness. The teachings lead us to realize the essential nature of our mind and genuine altruism. In essence, the central theme of the text emphasizes how to meet ordinary situations of life, under whatever circumstances, with greater intelligence and compassion.
This retreat is a rare opportunity to step out of the busyness of daily life and enter an environment dedicated toward awakening the mind and opening the heart.
Don’t miss this rare and precious opportunity!
